Visa Grant Delay 189

It will keep increasing unless processing of applications start.

Please specify the name of documents it might help others too avoid CO contact…

Or it decreases to 9-11/11-23 months?

It cannot decrease as no processing was observed

The portal is up now. No changes to the timelines yet :frowning:

It is generally updated after 20th every month. Last month it was updated on 22. So it can still be reduced and i am sure it will be around 4 years this month.

Hi guys… i just got granted bridging visa B for travelling overseas… just wanted to know do i need to update anything on my immi account or DHA while my travel period??

Only for you it will be 4 years for rest of the 189 applicants it will be reduced and will be granted before than what it is showing now… Be optimistic man :stuck_out_tongue:

The processing timelines are calculated on the basis of processing in the previous month. I Don’t factually see any reason to be optimistic. But we should all hope for the best.

But at some point of time it should be reduced and I hope let that happen in this month…

I think processing time range would not change this month. In fact, it would take minimum of 30 days After 189 cases have picked up pace to actually start reflecting on Global Processing Times…

New rules have been deployed today, factor in some of the critical bugs that department would be concerned about fixing before xmas break. In parallel we could see a slow start of 189 grants but hopefully it speeds up in January.

How do you get so much insight… Appreciate that you keep sharing :):metal:

i am also waiting, applied on 9th nov 2018. CO contact in july, status is FURTHER ASSESSMENT.

Hey Roomi, long time bud! I’m still here too… Lodged 7 Nov 2018, no CO contact yet. Status still RECEIVED. I’ve now uploaded new PCC just in case…

For those of you checking every day… STOP. If I had, it’d be 374 disappointments, for something I have ZERO control over. No one needs that kind of negativity

Good luck all!

Hello Bro,

Well i am not checking on a daily basis but yes i am waiting desperately. Meanwhile i had a baby and i have applied to add the baby in application. So i am now prepared for more delays. Moreover, u hadn’t have any CO contacts, so i am expecting a direct GRANT for u bro.

yes if this stage if they asked any documents this will be very bad because since nov no co contact and still waiting that a game of patience now .

Looks like we have 16,652 spaces for 189 and i would imagine all have or will have been taken by now. https://immi.homeaffairs.gov.au/what-we-do/migration-program-planning-levels

Is there a FOI document stating the number or 189 submitted or grants given for 2019?
