Its not always the case though
Visa Grant Delay 189
Thats my point Some people are waiting dec-jan with no co contact and if co contact after 12 months for any documents then this is wrong and time consuming for the applicant
100% agree with you on this!!!
you mean to say that co contact after one year for a documents so this is normal come on it is not possible that co did not touch the file .
Yes surely !!! DHA chose the best year 2019 to spoil everyone’s plans of moving to Australia. Hope sanity prevails and they issue direct grant visa to all the folks of 189 this year only…
This will happen as you can see 190 grants these days and we can hope so that they will visa .
I had a discussion on this with my consultant earlier, because resigning and denying promotion or not to change job role is in our hands. What if some one get termination letter or joined new company with good offer after lodging visa. In that case, they said we need to inform DHA about the changes but number of years for work experience will be counted till the last role or job and it should meet the requirements of work experience point claimed. As long that fulfills no risk in that, however in some cases they may do employment verification if the submitted document is not sufficient.
Exactly!!! So it doesn’t matter if you resign post lodging your visa application as your points get freezes when you lodge your visa application and you need update the IMMA with relevant docs in case of circumstance changes like End of employment, Family changes and so on. Also even if your age increases by a year it doesn’t matter post ITA submission/ visa lodging date.
I have a question sorry if this has already been asked but will the new requirements for the 189 visa affect us people that have already submitted our application and are waiting on a grant?? or will they only affect people who have already submitted EOIs waiting on a invitation and all new EOIs sent in after 16 NOV???
No Impact on visa applications lodged before Nov 16 2019…
Thank you
Guys, no traction for 189 applicants yet. Seeing the 190 immitracker I feel we are being tricked. Will it anytime start in future?
189 with 75 points. EOI: Dec,2018 Received invite on Jan 2019. Grant Lodged:17th Feb 2019 CO Contacted for docs :June,2019 Docs Submitted:1st Jul,2019 Grant:Still waiting.
Guys do you think I will get the grant before this year ends.Time estimates have changed from 6-8 months to 18-34 months. I am not able to get any updates from any forum with proper information.
The time frame will be from EOI or from Grant lodge date??
Regards, Rohan
Timeline is calculated from Lodgement date and not from EOI date.
For what documents did CO contacted you?
The immigration portal page has gone down for maintanance. Hopefully we will get some good news once it is up
employment related…though all the requested were already submitted
This downtime is to implement the new rules for SC 189, 190 and 491
Yeah and they might also increase the processing timelines for 189. It will now be 4 years.
Yeah…even I guess timelines might increase this month again☹️
