Hi Bro, congratulations. how long it took and did you mention on your return or just mentioned that you are stuck on expired bvb and want to return?

Thanks bro.

It took me 3 weeks. Most of the people are getting it in a month. Stream is regular 600 tourist stream. I gave the following reason

“Expired BVB holder wants to go onshore to process onshore PR application”

And

“BVB expired offshore because of the international borders closure by Australian Federal Government on 20th March 2020”

Documents submitted

1. Evidence of financial status

  • bank balance confirmation Australia
  • bank balance confirmation India
  • 2 recent payslips from Australia
  • most recent tax summary from Australia
  • most recent group certificate from Australia
  • life insurance documents

2. Travel document

  • Passport

3. National identity document

  • aadhaar card

4. Recent photograph 45mm x 35mm

5. Others

  • 189 Acknowledgment letter of visa applied onshore
  • 189 BVA letter
  • 189 BVB Letter
  • Birth Certificate original and translated in single attachment
  • all previous visas held in serial order including BVA all different attachments(provided serial number to each attachment to make it easy for case officer to understand the order of visas)
  • covid19 vaccine certificate
  • police clearance last held in Australia
  • police clearance local

No, I didn’t wrote cover letter. I also asked for one month visa but they granted me 3 year multiple entry visa.

No, I didn’t. But it is obvious. Don’t worry about it. It is mentioned in the clause so technically they can’t deny you visa.

Ok. I am working still for Aus employer. Employment is still ongoing. I have a letter from employer. Was that the same in your case. My employer will stand me down once i reach and will reinstate the employement once work rights received. They want to put that in a letter to make sure they abide by their rules. I hope that is not a problem.

Hi Bros, I had my one week vacation and visited Australia. I am an offshore applicant for 189. Just flying back to Denmark. Would I be considered an onshore applicant or still they will treat me like offshore? I did launch 189 visa application as an onshore applicant in May 2019.

You and your application will be considered offshore unless you are physically present in Australia.

Yes 2 other people got it. Both expired bvb and waiting for 189 visa grant.

New Minister will be in next week. So we will see what their plans are. That order could br scrapped.
