Visa Grant Delay 189

Thanks bro for your positive response. Bro do you think that in this financial year they can clear the backlog with the available quota??

It may happen. If you see FOI of March they only granted 70k PRs up until Feb-22 and the quota is 160k. Still they may have 50-60k or even more seats available.

I am expecting once this new minister takes the charge on 01/06, some movement will be seen in CO contacts and processing as they have one month to go and a fair bit of seats left to finish their 160k quota. And they will have to finish the quota as businesses facing skill shortages.

Bro is there any way to contact Julian hill mp?? please provide me his contact details…

I don’t have it. Search on google you can easily find it. He is not immi minister yet.

Any new co contact or not?

No Bro, But on Facebook page, there are people who lodged recently and they are getting grants. Very unfair, we are waiting from more than 2 years but just waiting.

Still unfair system. I wonder what the new politicians will do.

Bro did you have recent data on backlog of applications?? and any positive news??

Expired BVB folks

I have landed in Melbourne last night. I am on 600 visa 3 year validity and 3 months maximum stay. For your information I am getting the option to apply bridging visa as soon as the airport immigration gave me clearance to enter the country and my application status became onshore as soon as I left the airport. Now I have applied for a bridging visa A under the the category ā€œto replace a ceased bridging visaā€ in bridging visa section. This option was not available when I was offshore but now it is there because my status became onshore. I will let you know the outcome in the coming days. Usually it gets processed in 1-2 days.

Did border force ask any questions up on landing?

No they didn’t. Don’t bring any food/medicine or jewellery which can cause unnecessary questioning.

I just got my BVA granted. Can’t believe it got granted on a Sunday. It is granted by a case officer with name and position number mentioned at the bottom of grant letter. It will become active after 3 months once my visitor visa expires. No conditions added so I can work full time as it becomes active.

Wow. Thats great. Congrats bro. Hopefully you will get 189 before BVA activates. Did you apply BVa from Immi account’s Bridging Visa section?

Thanks bro. Yes bro when you reach onshore the link to apply bridging visa will automatically pop up in the bridging visa section of your immi account under your unfinalised application.
