Hi Mate, any success with Visitor Visa for BVB expired? My agent says 80% chance of success for 1 month visa and trying wont cost anything. He mentioned in the past as well expired BVBs used visitor visa option only. We were stuck due to them and not due to us. Only question is no one knows how long will they take to grant.

Yes there is a clause in the visitor visa processing for expired bvb. It is only valid for applicants with GSM application lodged onshore and their bvb ceased offshore. Here is the screenshot of the clause

Hello everyone

189 visa granted today (me and my wife)

Timeline is as follows- Invite- 11 july 2019 (wife) Stuck in india - from 10th march 2020 till 15 dec 2021 Came back to aus on 485 (i still had not applied so got it) on 15th dec 2021 First CO contact - 4 feb 2022 for medical and pcc

Medical done on 13th may Medical updated on immi by bupa on 18th may 2022 Got the grant in 4 hrs after that✌🏼

We applied onshore. But went back to india to get married and got stuck there. Then cam back to Australia on 15 dec 2021

In that situation it is 50% chances as the case officer can refuse on the basis of not enough ties to home country.

My case was assessed on different basis because I have lodged the pr onshore and my bvb expired offshore because of their fault.

Visitor visa is not a streamlined visa. Every case is assessed differently based on the applicant’s profile.
