No. They haven’t touched your application yet. Whenever they will touch it the status will change to initial assessment.
Visa Grant Delay 189
Mine is same by the way “received” since 33 months
But bro some person getting direct grant then in that case they also change first status to initial assessment??
Me too bro some time waiting from 26 months for 190, I feel sometime application is ok or something else…
No. If they don’t require any further information e.g pcc, medical or any other document then the status will change from received to finalised.
One day we will get it
Thank bro of course we will get it soon…
by the way you did not try visitor visa??
No bro. I am not sure that I will get it or not.
hmm…I also listen that some visitors visa also taking more than one years to grant…
Onshore is still their priority. They are still doing the same thing while their borders are fully open.
Yes I also depressed with their behaviour. they have to change their direction of processing…but they are implementing same strategy of covid…
I did not receive any answer of my previous feedback that I sent 4 months ago and then I again sent a new feedback one month ago, this time they again did not answer till this date…
I have also sent them complaint last year in December. They didn’t responded either.
Hi everyone,
I have a 485 visa, and am an applicant for 189 visa(waiting for last 3 years). I have a question, I just realized that my 4 years 485 visa read, For initial entry arrive by : 16 June 2022. I am currently in Denmark
,
would this mean that I must enter Aus. before this date?
Yes, you should enter AU by the First entry date and choose to later go back or stay there - this is to ensure your visa does not become void.
Thanks, But is there not a way to extend this date or bypassing it?
I’m not an expert but my view is that you can’t extend or bypass this date as it is one of the key conditions of your visa and could void your visa. Suggest you plan a short trip just to keep it live.
Any news on offshore grants??
Did not see anyone reporting.
