You are lucky that you got a co contact. Here i am waiting for co contact since 917 days 
and some are waiting from 1200 days
Anyway it starts from the day of co contact.

How come a person who has never visited Aus in life was able to collect enough points for 189?
Yeah you can imagine now how much struggle we did ,effort we put to collect that much point to be eligible for the pr n even then also we are not still getting the grant n last stage stucked…so u see some complete offshore people very much frustrated here

Totally understand…I guess it’d be almost impossible for an offshore applicant to have collected up to anywhere between 85~95 points…just how did you guys manage to compensate for those points you can not obtain by doing either PY or Natti?..and btw, I’ve always viewed this immigration system as seriously unfair and ‘flawed’…just imagine how heaps of ‘incompetent’ ppl can just more easily nail the PR by simply just ‘marrying’ some locals…sometimes even through submitting BOGUS marriage documents…while the most of the rest have to pull out 10 times the effort on their own…
