Visa Grant Delay 189

I don’t think so. assessment commencement date can be related to assessment of visa. How he can be offshore because they are inviting only onshore people. if he was onshore then in one week he went to offshore in this uncertain scenario because some time required for finalise the medicals and police check…Not clear bro?? There is something missing in this either he gave wrong lodgement date?? it could be possible that mistakenly he stated 2021 instead of 2019.

I have asked him in the comment section. Let’s see if he replies.

This time they updated the processing time in a different way.

In the past 3 years, never heard of any 189 applications being rejected. Maybe I am wrong. Did they reject anyone’s 189 application?

I think they did this just to hide their face because of shame as they haven’t finalised the applications from over 30 months. So they wanted to show the lower numbers as well

They only reject a point tested application if the applicant fails to justify the claimed points in the eoi at the time of invitation or is a criminal or have a underlying disease such as cancer aids.

bro today in budget news i read that they increase temporary and permanent migration from january 2022. what they mean exactly?? overseas permanent migration like us or they grant again visas to only onshore applicants??

Doesn’t matter. All their information, presentation, and PRs don’t make any sense with respect to progress on applications.

Oh man that would be disastrous. At that point, we’re going whether they like it or not.

What do you mean? please explain

Oh I was responding to Meliodas2021:

“Question…If offshore 189 app got rejected(Disasterously lol), can we still make an appeal to AAT as offshore applicants?”

lol…haha yeah I just consulted my agent back here…and they said at the current stage…it wouldn’t make much diff even if we go attempting on one of those student visas and make ourselves to be ‘onshore’…they still proceeding very slowly with subclass 189

Thanks for providing their insight.

I suggest you to not attempt to apply student visa. It is very complicated these days. You need a strong GTE statement to prove that you will be entering Australia on a temporary basis whilst you have already lodged a permanent visa. Chances of refusal are higher if you proceed. You can try one of those employer sponsored visas where you do not have to prove temporary entrance. My 2 cents

Treasury said a gradual return of temporary and permanent migrants is assumed to occur from early 2022. they are talking about us??

I hope so brother

Yeah bro, yet still those sponsor visas are even harder to obtain lol…sigh…immigtration is a BUSINESS in the eyes of those cunning politicians
