Congratulations. Seems they’ve been on a bit of a decision rampage lately (maybe they saw how many spaces they had left and decided to pick up some of the people who’ve been waiting?)

April 18th was a particularly popular day - many I have seen who applied under New Zealand stream had their applications just decided out of the blue as well (though that decision also means a $3200 invoice gets raised, maybe Home Affairs decided to help the budget?)

Is a bit of a shock to see the ImmiAccount go from “Received” straight to “Finalised” though, that’s for sure.

Hi Gurminder bro, I am seeing your messages since a long time, I really pray for you that you get your grant soon. Bro I was being contacted by CO on 4th March to redo medical. I did that on 10Th March and after that I have not heard anything. Now I can see on tracker that people are getting their grants in weeks of their CO contact but mine is still on Further Assessment. Should I just keep calm ? Or should I contact DoHA ?

ELU, if you are on this group, would you be so kind as to tell us what the status of your application is. I can’t wrap my head around why your onshore application had not been concluded since 26/05/2017 (according to MyImmiTracker). That is almost four years.

I get that part :slight_smile:, but his application started in 2017 when waiting times were four to five months (and it was completed in four to five months). Our delays only started when Dutton decided to overhaul the immigration system in 2019, compounded by Covid in 2020. Surely there must be some reason for Elu’s visa delay such as adding additional people to the application or the inability to get certain documentation. Would be nice to know what that reason is, so others can avoid it (if possible).
