Visa Grant Delay 189
Hello All, finally after lodging on Oct 2019, I and my husband finally received our first CO contact and they have asked only for PCC and form80. Now I changed my flat as well as my organisation where I work at since the last I submitted my form 80.
If I submit details that I joined a new company, which is just a month back, they might delay my process more is what I worry, asking about new company details and new scratutory declaration and payslips maybe.
Please suggest anyone what do you all think I should do. After almost 2 years I see some progress and I donāt want to mess this up.
Any change in circumstances, itās always advised to notify DHA as soon as possible. Donāt worry about few weeks delay, notify them and supply all the necessary information at one go.
Employment verification within AU shouldnāt be long.
I am assuming you are onshore applicant.
Congratulations buddy⦠enjoy the momentā¦
Iāve been checking this website almost everyday for new updates. And today I got my 189 grant. lodged 24 Mar 2020 no CO contact occ: mech eng. onshore
i thought processing time was unreliable, but i guess it is pretty accurate. hang in there guys.
Congratulationsā¦
Congratulationsā¦
Enjoy your day
Congratulations, mate!
On accuracy of processing times, my view is that it seems to be calculated on the total number of visas granted within 13 months (current for 189) divided by the total number of visas granted. They should rather be using the total number of applications waiting for an outcome as the denominator which will show an absolutely different picture. They seem to be happy patting their backs with showing false figures when you have a large number of applications in the 24-36 months still awaiting their grants.
Happy to hear if anyone thinks otherwise.
Hello. No Iām offshore and my husband is onshore. As you said itās better to submit all details. I really hope they donāt delay it more. Hoping for the best. Didnāt see my husband since 2years.
Not quite. What they do is they take the quickest 75% of decisions (NOT grants), the quickest 90% of decisions (again, NOT grants), then give you the slowest of each of those two as the āglobal visa processing timesā. They exclude the last 10%, because they would skew both of those two numbers waaaaaay out.
These doesnāt matter really I am already in my 22nd month without a co contact Just waiting!
hi everyone, finally got my residency to day after 915 days. Was a long journey. Hopefully there will be a postive news for everyone who has been waiting for the grant. cheers
