i want to ask about birth certificate from you. Actually i had a birth certificate from punjab and made it in 2014. it was filled by pen written (old format) in english version and i submitted it in immi account for age proof at the time of application lodgement. Recently i made a new certificate of birth from punjab which is made on the basis of previous certificate registration number proof. It is computerised and it can be verified digitally on the website. So, should i submit new certificate also in immi account or not?? because old one require physical verification.
Visa Grant Delay 189
Why you are overthinking man? CO will contact you if require computerized.
I havenât submitted any birth certificate. I have got a grant. As someone told above, if required, CO will ask for it.
When u received your grant? When u lodge file?
dont stress provide both and also attach your passport in the age proof.

Hi all, I have a small query. My AFP and PCC are expiring this month. Shall I get new ones?
My details are: 261313 (onshore), Lodged: 4th May 2020, First CO contact: 7th March 2021 - asking for Medicals as it had expired. No contact thereafter.
no need. your grant is on the way as you have been contacted recently just for medicals. grace period for pcc afp is 15 months for onshore. the case officer has already put a green tick against your police checks.
Hello mate,
You lodged your file by self or agent?
How many points mate Because we lodged on 22April,2020 with 95 points but still showing received.
My details are: 261312(onshore), Lodged: 22nd 2020
Thanks mate. Is the 15 month validity mentioned somewhere on the website? Just worried that this might cause unnecessary delays. Donât want another CO contact to redo AFP and PCC after my current ones expire.
I lodged by myself. 90 points.
You will get it soon mate.
Thanks mate
Hope so!!
i cant found the link or pdf but it was shared in this forum by someone few months ago.
CDC studies have proven that the Pfizer vaccine at least is 90% effective at preventing symptomatic or asymptomatic infection after the second dose, and 80% two weeks after the first. It absolutely does stop the spread, so we should encourage taking it as much as possible.
You are right that it would be insane to wait for some sort of globally agreed certification program though, that wonât happen. It could just be as simple as requiring evidence of vaccination, same as currently happens for existing diseases. Iâm not sure where all the talk of âvaccine passportsâ has come from (in general, not here).
As to economic isolation, at the moment itâs risk based. Australians and New Zealanders (and their PRs) can travel between their respective countries. Australia is preparing to open Singapore up to the same. New Zealand is likely to include the Pacific Islands soon (and bear in mind once the Pacific Islands are included, Australia and New Zealand have an obligation to stop COVID from coming into there from the rest of the world - those islands could not handle the disease reaching them, it would decimate their populations).
Countries like the US, UK, South Africa and India are likely to have the doors barred shut to them for quite some time (noting that New Zealand no longer even allows New Zealand citizens to travel from India).
good to see someone from May 2020 being contacted - means that queue is moving. Have you already responded to medical yet? If yes, when did you respond? Hopefully, your grant is on the way!! Good Luck!
Thanks, I completed the medicals on 13th March 2021 and it got cleared on 17th March 2021.
Thanks - in lines with current trends your grant may arrive during this or next week - on a side note, since you applied in May 2020, why they asked to redo medicals (assuming if you took it around the time of lodgement)? Did you use any prior medical that you took for any other visa application? Plz tell when your medical got expired - this will help us to ascertain whether they are offering any concession on expired medicals or not. Thanks, and Good luck!
I used my previous medical at the time of lodgement, which got expired in June 2020.
What happened to people from offshore from 2018/2019âŠdid anyone get grant or still waiting ?
