Visa Grant Delay 189

I second that!

21 months and 11 days, no co contact yet.

Dang! I wish they would just give us our grants!! Itā€™s just really unfair keeping us in a queue while everyone else is getting theirs! ( I donā€™t mean to sound rudeā€¦ but I am really frustrated)

I understand that, it really is very frustrating.

All of those who were CO contacted, anyone received grant after submitting the requested documents?

Hi everyone, I understand what everyone is going through with the 189 visa and I know its frustrating at times but we donā€™t have any choice. I have been waiting for almost 12 months now, I lodged my application on 10 April 2020 and still waiting. One thing I would suggest everyone is, if your application has been pending for more than one year you should update your PCC ( AFP) so that the CO when he/she looks at the your case these documents are update rather CO asking you to get it and mean while on the process things might change. I hope within a month everyone will get the grant. Hope for the Best.

Yes, most of us from 2019 application got their 2nd COs contact, but none of them reported as granted yet, hoping for the great news soon, good luck everyone!

Nop not yet, looks like 189 applications for 2019

Which occupation mate?

ICT Security Specialists

I was lodge on 22 April 2020 in developer programmer occupation still nothing

I believe developer programmer is on priority occupation list, is it? Donā€™t worry, I am positive that they will start granting visas by April

Yes itā€™s in priority Hope so everyone getting :+1:

Iā€™ve already done that for AFP. If we have been in Australia since we lodged our visa, do we need to re-do our Indian PCC?

When did you get CO contact and what is the contact about?

Got my co contact one in feb 2020 for polio certificate, and second was in feb 2021 for wifeā€™s pk pcc as she is stuck offshore and my job letter, my occupation is ICT Security Specialist. Lodged in nov 2019.

Thank you for the details.

I donā€™t think so, if you have not visited India after you have lodged your application, you donā€™t have to get Indian PCC. thatā€™s what I have heard.

Hi, I have added new born baby in October 2020 onshore. I have got GP letter and shared to them as baby was just one month old
