This one I’m not sure.
I think I heard from an agent this one not really.

For anyone who wants the list of priority occupations : The Priority Migration Skilled Occupation List
The 17 occupations (ANZSCO code) are:
It states that this list is relevant for the 408 visa.
Thank you. This is the correct list for 189 visa.
That’s me
Seems like there’s been a lot of movement recently with 189 contact in the consolidated visa tracker - but these are all pre-pandemic contact records.
Seems like they changed the processing time for 189. 11 to 21 months
Yes, these numbers don’t mean anything anymore. They just change them however they want, whenever they feel like it.
What kind of contact?
What do you mean by pandemic record?
CO contact
Pre-pandemic, so pre-“critical occupations”
I am still on Further Assessment status since Feb2020 (Lodgement May 2019, CO Contact Feb 2020 for State PCC US). My Medicals were done in 2019 June and assuming there is a 12 month expiry on those records. Should we get the Medicals done again and get them uploaded proactively?
But this is what says on my account: “All health examinations required for the specified visa subclass have been finalised. Processing of this person’s visa application can now continue. This will not occur until a case officer investigates the case in line with published processing times for the visa that has been applied for. Do not contact the department about health examinations in the meantime.”
Does this mean i don’t need a health assessment anymore or should i go for another Medical exam and upload it on the portal? Same question for PCC applies as well as they expire in a year as well.
Hi @pritzieaus,
I am also in the same situation as yours, status is ‘Further Assessment’ since Feb 2020, applied March 2019. My PCC and medicals have also expired. For medicals, you will need new HAP ids, which can only be generated by CO. If it is not much of hassle, i suggest you to wait for another CO contact for PCC and medicals before making a move.
Hope this helps!!
The updated processing times means that the average applications age which were processed last month are 11 - 21 months. Which is a good sign means they started processing the older applications first.
Not really… it just means they’re letting us know that the waiting time just got longer. Or at the bear minimum publicly acknowledging the fact that people have been waiting for 21 months.
Which is the oldest known application date here which is still pending for decision ?..Mine is Apr 19 lodged and I received CO contact in Mar 20, but I think there are few here from late 2018…I am just trying to understand how much more can they stretch this 21 months period to, mine is already over 19 months now
December 2018 was the oldest I have seen on this forum.
Thanks. Any idea about the numbers for on hand age > 24 months ?..Does it mean all applications get processed within 24 months ?..24 months being the worst case scenario
I guess >24 means 3-4 CO contacts.
Thank you @jha_gaurav. That helps. Waiting is the only way then! Do tag me if you hear anything on your case. I will keep an eye out as well.
