Visa Grant Delay 189

So I had it done 19 months ago. And it would be nice if I could renew them as they will ask me to renew it when they pick up my case and I will wait another year for them to pick it up again :weary::weary::tired_face:

Awful.

Well
A folk from these forums got a request to do medicals again in Sep and got their grants a month after.

It makes you feel like when they ask for it again they truly gonna get back to your case to finalise it and award the visa unless there is a medical issue arises. That’s another story, but a possible scenario.

Not always the case i had a CO contact in Feb for medicals and PCC. I submitted the same within 10 days and since then no communication whatsoever i might have to redo it in coming Feb. :frowning:

True and your occupation is listed as priority and onshore.

This is nonsense.

Have you been waiting for around 18 months, right?

Yes, that’s correct. :unamused:

These guys said they were going to process onshore applications first and the most recent grants I heard about are from offshore.

At least they are old applicantions.

Guys something very interesting happened. I went online to Bupas website and they let me book an appointment with the same Hap ID. I didn’t do it as I am waiting for the agent to tell me what’s going on, but it looks like I can make an appointment. I have a little hope. Will update u once I speak to my agent. Byway before Covid they asked for my sons (they said he turned 6 months while waiting, whic wouldn’t happen if they did it within the time frame which was 9 months then) health check in December and I did it within a week and nothing since then. And of course all the health and police checks expired by now. this is a vicious circle :rage::face_with_symbols_over_mouth:

Well, I called Bupa this afternoon and spoke with a lady who advised me It’s not possible to use the same HAP ID because once results are done they upload information and closed it. She actually checked on my old one and then gave me this answer.

So, they need a new one for them to be able to provide results to your case.

Let us know if you get other information, but as per this lady from Bupa It’s not possible.

How long a medical for a Newborn is valid for?

They need a medical for a baby after 6 months if baby is born onshore. It is the same as adults, 1 year. They made me do my son’s health check after making me wait a year after lodging. I mean while waiting, for a year, my son turned 6 months and instead of grant they said do the health checks for your son  it is like chasing our tail. now they will say do the health checks and my son’s will expire until they pick it up

Got it.

Received our golden email!!! Lodged in 12 feb 2020. Co contact on 16 feb 2020. Resubmitted all requested docs and got our grants on 27 Oct 2020
Miracles do happen!! All ur miracles are on your way
My wishes and prayers for everyone here!
