I think you have valid reason to complaint about this, being onshore they might consider you and give grant straight awayā¦ as we saw some non-health related onshore got grantsā¦ go ahead and try to reach out themā¦
Latest numbers received for 189 points tested visa backlog and other statistics, as at 16th September.
Did it on more than 10 occassions. They donāt have an answer. They just reply back with scripted emails.
Unfortunately Iām currently offshore. Was onshore for over 15 months. Couldnāt apply for new jobs, couldnāt get a loan, couldnāt do anything else on my Bridging Visa B status. Now stuck overseas with very little hope.
Looks like they are granting visas to few offshore applicants. I see two listed recently on the tracker.

Thanks mate. Iāve never been contacted by the department either, let alone the outcome. Iām afraid thereās no accountability for these people which is extremely unfair.
Hang in there . I applied mine on Dec1, 2018 and the wait is really frustrating. Hopefully our grants will come through soon.
Iām trying my best mate. Already sold my stuff in Australia, lost my job there and owe a few hundred to the bank too.
Donāt think I can call myself a professional in any occupation anymore lol. Thatās how the lazy immigration destroys our lives. Even if I get the grant now, Iāll have to start from below scratch. Best of luck

This is an application lodged in March 2020.
Understandable none of the documents are expired and easy for them to decide, but completely unfair on old applicants.

Hi everyone, I have lodged my 189 visa for some time now and I noticed that in the visa category section right above the application status, it says āSkilled Regionalā and not " Skilled Point-test". My invitation was for a 189 visa and I am a bit confused as to why the category is not the same as my invitation. Any thoughts?!

I applied for 190 and in my immiaccount also, it shows as āskilled Regionalā just above the application status. Not sure why. But as long as you applied for 189/190 and got the acknowledgement letter for the same, I donāt see that as a problem to worry about.
