Visa Grant Delay 189

Sorry for asking but you seem to know how this process works internally.

What case load management means?

Itā€™s management of the case load. The load. Of cases. Specifically, the ones that are actually being actively looked at at any given time - humans have a limited capacity, so there are processes in place to prioritise and manage the cases that are assessed within those limits.

Thanks so much for enlightening me on this.

This is driving us nuts and raises many questions on the delay reasons, especially because things were completely different just few years ago and they seemed to be able to handle large volume of applications and provide a response in a reasonable timeframe and everything has gone backwards and makes people speculate and forget about the human factor as we donā€™t know what happens internally.

Hi guysā€¦time updatedā€¦6 mnths to 12 months

Everyone waiting over 12months can now flood them with emails i guessā€¦

Mail whom??

DHA ā€¦hhhaha

I mean, do we have a specific mail id as such. Raising compliant, feedback is just waste of time

Is this a good sign?

Hiā€¦but i provided 2 feedbacks during last 3 mnths

Hi, What is the email Iā€™d that you have used for raising the feedback. Thank you

Did it help? Did you give compliment, suggestion or compliant?

It was a feedback ā€¦complaintā€¦u cn see my msgsā€¦i shared tht in this forum too

It is the feedback form in the sectiin of ā€œcontact usā€ on homeaffairs website

Thank you

Their website has been down for quite some time now. This is just getting ridiculous.

People who are waiting for more than 12 months have come under 10 percent delayed cases. Now God help usā€¦

Thatā€™s the biggest lie. I know a hundred people whoā€™ve been waiting for over 12 months, God knows how many more are there. Thereā€™s probably a hundred thousand people whoā€™ve been shoved into this 10% category.

Its frustrating, because there is no upper limit to this application processing timeā€¦they have no SLAā€¦their system is comparable with Indian court cases and looks like it can go on foreverā€¦mine was straight forward case with no employer change and I am single applicantā€¦I canā€™t think of any complexity which would have made my application go under that 10%

Mine was even simpler. No experience at all. Just Australian academics (already certified by ACS) with medicals and police check done locally on the next day. My case will be 22 months old within a week
