lol if you think this is utter crap , look up 190 visa tracker. bunch of pending cases from dec-april but aug-nov applicants are getting grants left right and center.
Visa Grant Delay 189
Ok cool⦠Any idea what is the current demand? Is it engineering, accountants and developers?
So far these are the streams I could see.
Good to know!
My medial expires only by April 2020 (1 year validity). PCC expired in October 2019. Was going to proactively apply for new PCC but they sent the grant before that.
did you received the grant
Ok. I have the documents with me. Where should I upload them?
A) Should they be uploaded under āAdditional Documentsā button? Or B) should they be uploaded under āReceivedā under the appropriate category?
Appreciate an early response. Thanks.
Nigel
I got very impatient yesterday and had all negative thoughts but after reading this forum, I feel I am quite good at handling these kind of situations. To everyone who is losing it, please be calm, positive and optimistic. Say this to yourself: I am about to receive the best opportunity which going to change my life forever. I am blessed to have received direct PR grant. Feel this from your heart and there will be an email in your account soon. All the best.
80 points
No, I directly received the grant email.
I thinks the Apr May Jun and Jul Granted by DHA are chaos, not followed by the time. It depends on the DHA and CO
Yeah a lot of April and May grants still, what happened to March cases, no CO contact, no grants
Hi All, I got my Direct grant today. Application filed on 13th March. All the best to everyone.
Congrats!
Really getting demotivated day by day due to uncertain wait period which ofcourse most of us are going throughā¦I believe it would have been really good if there was a transparent update in terms of possible day / week / month of receiving grant
Hi Priya,
I had sent an email to DHA but as usual a standard response as they say my cases is within timelines and they cannot provide an update on the progress. Its been 328 days and no update.
Whatās the process to complain to the ombudsman? And are there any prerequisites before we complain to them?
totally agree with u on that.
Hi all,
I am new to this forum. I lodged my 189 application with my wife as dependent way back in April 2018. At that time the estimated processing time was 6-8 months. However, I am yet to receive a CO contact. I waited for the first 12-13 months patiently.
But now, I seriously donāt know what to do. I wrote to DHA, ombudsman - every authority possible. Looking at the amount of cases processed for 2018 and 2019, I thought I too should get the grant, but I believe I am in that 10% that the DHA keeps mentioning. I am sure there are many cases like mine who are not on this forum.
Can anyone suggest a solution to me?
April 2018 and no CO contact yet ? This is insaneā¦i thought oct or nov 2018 are the oldest ones pendingā¦you call them , submit complaint online, letās see what happens, although chances are high to get again same generic responseā¦
Hi allā¦
I am very happy to let you all know that we have received our grant today. I applied on 15Nov2018 with my spouse. CO contacted in 21feb2019. And finally received a grant on 3Feb2020. Also I didnt renew my PCC or medical cause I was waiting for CO to contact for that. Moreover, I called DHA last week for delay and document uploads and after so many excuses she confirmed that documents are received and she didnt tell anything more.
All the best to everyone!!!
