Visa Grant Delay 189

Hi, Didn’t they ask for specific country PCC?.

Have they specified any reason or just asked for PCC?

hey I am same as you…Indian living in the US. If you have not obtained PCC from your local township and state police, please do so and submit that as well and may be that’s what ur CO is looking for. I submitted local, state, FBI and India.

You might be right. I missed submitting the state PCC. I will try to get that right away. Thank you all for your quick responses

This is what they sent me:

See the attached “Request Detail”, which provides a detailed explanation relating to the checklist item(s) listed below. Police clearance certificates If in US for at least three months, State Police Clearance for each State in which youhave lived for at least 3 months for the last 12 months

It could be that I am missing the State PCC which I will have to submit.

get it from ur local police as well…takes 30 mins and u get it right away. One question…did u get CO contact today on a Saturday in Australia??

What’s your job code??

So i should get a State PCC as well as a local police clearance?.. Both?

9:45 AM Saturday, in Canberra ACT time, i recieved the email

correct. State usually takes a week or 2…NJ took me 2 weeks after I submitted my fingerprints. Local takes 30 mins…

Submit 4 PCCs - Local, State, FBI and India.

 great

What is your total total point for PR? Thanks

Thank you for the details. Will do so.

FBI clearance report mentions that they can’t provide clearance at state level. So you need to obtain state PCC from every state where you have lived for more than 3 months.

I have just received my grant today (on a Saturday!) It looks like DHA has finally decided to work harder. I hope my complaints to Ombudsman etc had helped everyone.

Updated in immitracker.

Hi, my spouse had lived in US for around 3 years. It’s been more than 5 years since she’s in India now. I submitted FBI PCC for her. Do I also need to submit state PCC?

Congratulations:) May this new beginning bring you the best:) Good luck

you should be fine .state is only required if you have lived in a particular state for over 3 months in the past year.
