PCC expired in December. Medicals valid until February.

Wierdabrug police station did it for us, twice (second time to renew), both times without marriage certificate, and no issues. On the application for we entered: “Firstname, MarriedSurname (nee OriginalSurname)”. The officer (gentleman) was very helpful and competent.

Is anyone, who submitted the application in July 2019, got the Grant for 189? I see in this site “https://myimmitracker.com/en/au/trackers/sc189-visa-tracker-2018-2019” that folks who submitted the application in Mar/June 2019 got the invite in Jan 2020 for Ancode 261313 (189).

Although the change from 20 months to 13 months has appeared now, it could change back in no time. Until we get the grant, all these things dont matter at all. Best wishes to everyone…

Very difficult to predict by when all the applicants until March will get their grants. It may well take another 18-24 months including CO contacts. I am sure everybody has the patience to wait that long. Folks who lodged in Jan 2020 can expect their grants by 2024. These wait times are very small when compared to those for the US green card. So guys, have patience, your time will come.

With all due respect your messages are becoming completely pointless now. This negative attitude is not helping anyone. You have been asked by several members now to stop making these comments. If the DHA website states a time we have to have faith in that expectation.

If you are meant to have something you will have it ,if not ,there are thousand of obstacles that will be in your path, so you reach this point now , being negative is not going to help you or anyone around you, so just be calm . Take out your negative energy and enjoy the moment. This is life .

The whole PR thing is making you crazy, i suggest you to see a shrink before it’s too late. The earlier you get treat, the earlier you can get rid of your mental illness

When you get immi commence mail? I got ack email from immi when I submmited my application 18th March with bridging VISA. and my application is in recevied state since then

hi everyone, i lodged 189 application on oct 22, 2018. i am still on my 485 visa which is going to expire this february and my bridging visa is going to be active after that. i just want to know because of 485 visa which is still active is my grant being delayed or it doesnt have any effect on the processing of PR application. thankyou

@Ramit, As far as I knew, PR Grant doesn’t depend on expiry of current visa as such.

From my own view, I think there is no relation between your 485 visa and bridging visa. It’s just delay only. Hope it helps.

Sure, it’s very easy to have faith when it first said 6-9 months, then 12-18 months, then 18-34 months, then 12-18 months, then 11-13 months. Very easy to trust someone who changes his version every month.

Ok so what’s the alternative?. Withdraw your application then. I don’t see why you are continuously moaning. You knew what you were getting into when you started the process. I applied in march. I’ve had no contact at all. Do you see me complaining several times a day ?

There is no point in talking to him as he is completely disturbed and full of negative thoughts.Everyone here believes that we will receive our grants and we are staying positive.

Yes. At the time, I knew I’ll be getting my grant in 6 months based on the processing times. I didn’t know they can change it at their whims and fancies and keep people waiting for more than 15 months. This is unjust. My point is, if they are not able to process the cases within stipulated time frame, they should give an option to refund the money. They cannot hold on to it and then also not process your case.

Ok. I fully understand that it’s frustrating. But what can you actually do about it ? There is nothing we can do. The solution unfortunately is to not dwell on it and move on. The grant will come eventually. In the mean time live life.
