What is the total number of documents uploaded in your application? I feel that applications with more documents take longer to be processed…

Hi guys, Got CO contact today, they finally added our baby and generated the HAPID, submitted change of circumstances 7 Aug 2019, long wait I know.Our lodgement date was 7 Feb 2019.Almost approaching 1 year.

Being realistic is sometimes termed negative. But it actually causes lesser frustration. There are so many “positive” people on this forum who are still waiting for an eternity to get grants. Any help being positive?
some time no news is good news as well and suddenly after a long wait you will get good news
Hi Cindy. I saw your comment regarding PCC in MyImmiTracker. We had to redo my wife’s as well since they did not add her maiden name. When I asked Wierdabrug police about it, they said that you have to add your marriage certificate (which is not stated in their list of documents to submit).
He is like a two-year old throwing tantrums while in reality he is seeking attention. Ignore him and he will stop his tantrums. Worked for my two year old.

We are positive since we know what our end goal is - It is to get the PR as we have a life planned in Australia. Yes it does cause us frustration too that our plans are on hold due to this delay in processing, but again no one promised us it will be easy when we started the process. Right now it is best for us to think of the end goal. I can talk for myself that i do not plan to take any alternate path even if this takes more time (sorry if that’s unrealistic but it is about priorities).

Yes the police HQ at DIRCO is so useless, I’ve attached a copy of my marriage certificate but they still did not add it, after the third attempt they finally came right.12 weeks just to get PPC correct.Where in the process are you guys? We also from Pretoria
Negative or positive, your grant will come anyway, just how fast or how long you need to wait. As you said, there’s no help to be positive, but it makes even worse of being negative. You can be negative and make your day being frustrated, but please don’t bother other people with your baseless estimations and keep ignoring CO contacts & grants of people who lodged in 2018. Thank you.

Yeah the number of documents is high, everything from employment proof to tax statements to bank statements to income tax returns to experience and roles and responsibilities letters, i guess the more the better…
We submitted on 9 April 2019. I guess we still have a couple+ months to wait. I agree. The guys at Police Criminal Records in Schoeman street was pretty useless. It took about 4 hours just to get the paperwork in and then they buggered it up as well. The guys at Wierdabrug appear to be a bit more on the ball, but unfortunately they are not the ones who does the processing.

BTW, the most direct way for you - withdraw your application. Then you won’t receive any frustration comes from this anymore…

Sure, I would have, if they refunded the money. But they won’t, and I don’t want want to lose the money.

I called the department they said due to lack of application there is no time frame in home affairs web site I said in immi account its showing 11-13 months what a joke they should shut down the department and sit in home .
Finally our long wait is over. Started the journey in November 2017 with IELTS. Got EA assessment report in June 2018. For direct invitation in October 2018, got re invited in December 2018. Lodged visa January 17 my time. CO contact for further proof of employment on April 17, responded on April 26. Finally we get the golden email-my family and I today. IED is January 23,2021. I wish everyone waiting good luck with getting the golden email.
