hey guys, I have a question and need your help. When I uploaded my material on 21th Mar, I haven’t stayed in AU for a year so didn’t require the police clearance certificate. However, after that, I have waited for another 6 months and I just realise that I have lived for about 14 months. Do you recommend me to update the PCC? I am a bit afraid that it may affect my priority. Thank you guys. Hope for the best.
Visa Grant Delay 189
Hi all…as per my opinion this hike in processing time is related to govt policy to control population in metro areas and to develop the regional ones. People wl automatically not opt 189 with such long times
If you had stayed in AU for 12 months at the time of application i.e. March 21, you need to provide the PCC, otherwise not. However, it’s recommended to upload the PCC to get direct grant instead of CO contact.
If your application says, 11-22 months, then its is for you as well. Please login and check.
My application is showing 7-8 months . Even my immi agent is telling that the grant will come soon and the process of visa grant hasn’t stopped. Let’s see

I lodged my application on 18th March 2019, was first contacted by CO around May and then the application was updated on 04th June 2019, earlier it 7-8 months then changed to 8-9 months now yesterday the processing time changed to 11-22 months. And I believe we are all on same boat of wait and hope, so we need to hold on to it and weather the storm.
looks like CO are all busy dealing with 489 and 190 now.
And it’s hopeless for us who lodged just at this month on 12 Sep…
How do we suppose to get through these 22m

This is absolutly unfair, applications should be honoured by the processing time which was mentioned at the time of lodgement. This way it can go on forever… Health check reports will expire, Police Clearence reports will expire… Has anyone provide feedback on the DHA website??

but i was not able to find any on immi tracker of 189…
absolutely, don’t know what their logic is, it means they are clearly saying and accepting that in this whole process we have to appear for both medicals and Police clearances twice, so much time, money and effort it takes…there should be some accountability…
But even for the folks who applied in march/april is going to take another 22 - 24 months for visa grant or they have mentioned in general !! Its really confusing !!
