Waiting time for 189 visa increased from 8-9 to 11-22 months

all over
kids admission to school, changing job buying things for home, not able to do anything just because of this slow process was in hope that at maximum will get grant in an year, but now they changed to 22 monthsā¦ In india good schools take around 3500-4000 AUD on the name of admission fees, what to do now, not able to understand anythingā¦

suddenly change from 8-9 to 11-22m, how do they calculate the processing time!
I hope it is applicable to new applications and not the ones waiting to receive grants !!
Your case is already in process buddy as youāve had a CO contact. Donāt worry, youāll be the first one to get the grant and wonāt have to wait for 22 months.

Can anybody know what iscah are predicting about the sudden change of timeliness.
My personal opinion would be they are not going to pick 189 till Nov and then December is a holiday month and then they will start from Jan which means they are taking 2 months and hence making the change in the timelines. It is redicules
have you got the invite? and i guess if someone has already done their EOI with specific points than new system cannot affect them because they have got their assessment done and have Received their pointsā¦

I just feel sorry for myself for lodging subclass 189.
thats true priya.star, Iām thinking the same thing, the last ever visa grant was on august 14th and thatās for an Onshore applicant, the last visa grant for offshore applicant is on 1st August, which i think is highly unlikelyā¦did you also see the change in global processing times to 11 to 22 monthsā¦i was shocked to see this today morning.
have you seen the latest global processing timeā¦ its now 11 to 22 months for 189 visa.
