Visa Grant Delay 189

Can anyone help with these 2 questions?

  1. If I get a BVB and travel overseas for about 4 weeks, will it put my 189 Application on hold/pause? As far as I know, some of the sub-classes have obligation to stay onshore if the application was made onshore to be able to receive a grant. Not sure, if that’s the case for 189 too.
  2. Once I am back from overseas to Australia, do I have to submit PCC (Local and Overseas) and Medical again?

Much appreciated, your assistance!

05 Grants already… good sign

189 application processing does not go on hold if you travel overseas, as far as i know there wont any need of medical and PCC.

Seems to be a quiet day today.

No grants or CO so far?

Congratulations

Hi All, Currently I’m on student visa and applied for 189 (261313) on 15th Feb 2019. CO has got contacted on 18th June 2019 for more employment evidence and submitted on same day.

My question to experts is that until I complete my student visa (i,e SEP 2020) I won’t be granted for 189 because of having valid visa till Sep 2020??

Nothing like that. You will get your grant soon.

Just lodged a BVB application, planning to go to overseas on Jan 16 for about 4 weeks.
