Visa Grant Delay 189

@parveen.smarty Grant is independent of any points based ranking once invited. The case that you had mentioned about people in your office with more points are granted even they lodged after you, should be looked at the time when the points required to get invitation was more than it was required when you had applied! So people invited/ lodged after you could have more points to get invited! So relax, we should be heard sooner than later ! :+1:

hey can anybody please guide me why is form 1399 required?? as i have already submitted form 80 and 1221 and i am offshore

Unless CO asks for it, it’s not mandatory. The only mandatory one is form 80. Cheers.

and not even 1221

Yea. Only 80 is.

Points are irrelevant after invitation, definitely it is not the basis for the sequence of visa grants. Each and every case are different, handled by different people. It is definitely easier to verify the background of someone who worked with a single company for 9 years versus someone who worked with three companies with the same timeline, someone who worked at a prestigious company against smaller companies. This is why you can’t set a standard timeline of processing a single case since the complexities varies. What we can do to simplify their work is to submit every small details that would justify our claimed points.

Right now, let’s all be grateful that they have assigned case officers back to process visa 189. We are seeing grants Nov, Dec, Jan, Feb until March. Both direct grants and w/ CO contacts. Recent grants show that they are already giving grants until March 15. For sure all cases prior March 15 have been looked at and is being reviewed at the moment. Again it is just each case is unique. Keep your heads up, stay positive, be happy for those who are already getting their grants. Our time will come so we need a little more patience. God bless everyone.

Please follow the link for details as to how to send PTE score to DHA (AUS) Use Department of Home Affairs (DHA)|DHA instead of DIBP

Hi, i was sending score but this appeared.

PR applications are processed by all the states. Depending on where the application is being processed the grant date will also vary based on their caseload. If an onshore applicant is from NSW, then the application will likely be processed in NSW. Different states will process applications based on their resources.

It is expected that 90% of Nov/ Dec applications have now been processed. Therefore, It also can be assumed that the remaining applications from this period are complex applications where the CO maybe requiring more information. March applicants appear to be given grants at 9 months. These applications are simple and fully completed applications.

All submitted application is assessed in a similar fashion. The most common reason why the outcome is delayed is because of incomplete information.

What’s your source for this? As far as I know and as seen on the state’s immigration pages, the DHA is the only authorised government agency for processing either PR or any other visa service. And they don’t work from every state. States only nominate. So I don’t think it’s correct to say depending on where an onshore applicant lives, that’s where his application would be processed.

So after months of daughter’s addition to my application I finally received hap id past Monday, did medical same day and submitted receipt next day , now the anxious wait starts, it’s been 2 days now, waiting for good news.

It implies that you’ve already sent your scores via PTE portal to DHA. No further action required.

Hi All, sorry if this question has been asked before, but what is the new pte Certificate? How do I know if I uploaded the old one or the new one? Must I just login to Pearson website and download new scorecard and upload onto my immi account? I lodged 5 Feb 2019, have had 1 CO contact (our first baby was born so I had to add her onto the application, and more proof of relevant work experience, which I uploaded). Since uploading the required documents on 11 July 2019, I haven’t had any contact and my baby isn’t reflecting yet on my Immi account. Will she have to do a medical, or does it just depend on the CO? Thanks so much.

I downloaded the latest PTE score report (and uploaded it under English competency section), which is slightly different than the one i attached while application lodgment in two ways:

  1. The new report comes with “Score Report Code”

  1. Report website source has changed to “srw.pteacademic.com”

Yes, she will have to do medicals. CO will generate HAP ID for her. Till then you will have to wait.

Thanks so much for your reply, it is much appreciated.

When adding my baby onto my application, the CO sent me a Form 1436 which is to add a dependent onto your application. At the end of the form it was an amount to pay, I paid $1015 AUD, subsequently I did some research and you don’t need to pay anything to add a newborn? Is this correct? How would I go about getting a refund? I sent a msg through my Immi account explaining everything.

Thanks so much for your reply. However, I am unable to login on that website?

@LarryD just want to understand what repeat medicals mean. your wife has to go through the whole process which she went for 603? wait 3 months repeat xray and stuff ? or is it all other tests except the xray for which form 815 was already submitted Can anyone clear this up for me, currently in the same boat, submitted 815 for wife on July 3rd, clearance provided on May 3rd so it is beyond 6 months for my wife as well.

Hi @Navathej, @LarryD,

I too received CO contact to complete and Sign Form 815 for my kids which states that I need to contact Bupa Medical services within 4 weeks of arrival to Australia, once visa is granted. I have submitted signed form on the same day of CO contact. What happens after this?. What clearance are you talking about?. Could you please through some light on this please.?
