I begin my count from 2014 when i applied to study my masters in Australia. Waiting for my visa was a relatively small part of the whole migration process

It just got updated :slight_smile: It went inactive I guess, There was no CO contact. I launched offshore but had applied for a subclass 600 visa to visit for the holidays and I had updated the 189 visa application with the flight details It was granted 24hrs after arrival in Australia so they listed it as an onshore visa if that helps

Luckily no, but could be different for russian guys. Also, l tried to do my form 80 thoroughly, so there would no gaps in my work/education

Neither. Not sure what form 1221 is, but 80 was pretty much like a cv in some parts)

Yeah, it’s very important. my friend from Russia also was recently asked to redo his afp check because of that.

Hey guys

you reckon I should update IMMI of my recent overseas travel? (2 weeks ago). I know they can see international movements but I don’t want to be in a situation where I get CO contact again for that. I called IMMI to ask but received the usual generic response …. "they will contact you if they need… blah blah blah " I thought I would ask people with brains what do you guys think?

Yes I am a US citizen and lodged from the USA. Currently been in Australia for 3 days though on a travel visa so it was good timing for me. After months of stress like you all, it worked out nicely. Don’t give up guys. Your time will come. There is finally movement!

They are still giving grants today, we have one at our forum, lodged March 12, granted Dec 14 morning.

Direct grant today. I lodged 7 March. The first entry is one year from the date of grant, very reasonable timeline.
