Hi Guys, Just got a scary news from a friend. He applied his 189 on 27 Feb under ICT Sec Specialist. He hasnā€™t go a CO yet! Whereas, I have applied on 21 March under Dev Programmer, I donā€™t want to imagine by when I will be getting a CO myself!

we applied 10th march and havnt got a co yet either but weve uploaded all docs and medicals so were hoping on direct grant! so were not expecting co contact ā€¦ maybe hes the same??

Hello there. We applied on March 9 (75 points, Mech. Engineer)ā€¦ Hoping to have direct grant as well.

As soon as somebody gets a grant let us know!

Not a scary news mate. I also applied in the same occupation for 189 on 27 Feb and have not received any update from the DHA. There are lot of applicants who lodged 189 visa in Jan and didnā€™t receive any update yet. All we need to waitā€¦

Hi allā€¦i got a queryā€¦is it mandatory to attach form 80 coz the consultant told me that aftr CO contact , he wl attach the same if demanded but clearly it wl delay the decision by 2 months and second is ā€¦ how do they verify PTE scoreā€¦do we need to gv them username and pass word?

Hey from my own experience I would just attached everything I can to increase the chances of getting a direct grant, because the current processing time is soooo exhausting. The form 80 is a lengthy one, but I do think it is worth giving it time than having to wait extra 3+ months after they request it (yes, I donā€™t know who those people are who say you get your grant 2 months after the co contact)))) As for pte - I just attached my certificate. As far as I know the department can use your details listed on it to verify your score through the official pte website. Still, donā€™t quote me on this. Always better to check with a professional

To avoid CO contact, it is better to attach form 80(mandatory for permanent visa) and send your PTE score to the DHA via online portalā€¦
