Bro increasing seats have any meaning?? last year there were 6500 seats for 189 however they filled only 200-250 places till date as per a agent. then what is the meaning of increase??

Bro there is a confusion in increased seats. Some agents said that now states will have more nomination places and more people get invited in coming months because of increased seats in budget but some people said that now backlog may clear because additional seats are provided now in budget. What actually affected little bit confused?? it is good news for people who are waiting for grants?? or for invitations??
Additional seats are provided to clear the backlog. But itās too early to celebrate. Letās wait for a few weeks and see if they make some concrete progress.

Finally received PR grant (189 visa) today for me and my family.
Occupation - ENGINEERING TECHNOLOGIST, 95 points, Offshore application
EOI date - Oct 2019
1st Case officer contact - March 2020
2nd Case officer contact - Feb 2022 (Asked for PCC, Medicals and Form 80)
We responded on 23rd March 2022
PR grant on 04/04/2022.
