Thank you for your response really appreciate
Visa Grant Delay 189
Hi Bro many thanks for the update. These are truly informative!
@adhk Just a couple of weeks my friend. Your occupation is sitting on the top of all the other applications. So chill
Thanks alot mate i was expecting your response too heheheh
16/03/2022 Quick update, I saw this from a Migration Agent. Apparently today he was at an event with Alex Hawke and asked about current processing times. According to the agent, the Minister reaffirmed the DHA is aware of the backlogs and processing times will improve in the coming months. Fingers crossed
Good to hear something. Processing time will increase in the coming months - I expect if the minister has given the exact time frame instead of saying “Coming months”. We never know how much more months they require to process all the pending applications.
Any update for today?
Any one have same case officer name officer name start from K who got CO contact ?
Nothing bro when did you had your co contact ?
Never
Bro nothing yet from my side. I am completely frustrated now with this immigration system. really more than 2 years for a very simple file and still waiting. They do not have any ethics…
Bro Even agents Facebook pages are not reporting any grants. why all this going on. what is the reason not to clear backlog? is it elections?? or something other??
Can’t say about anything now. I am also frustrated and tired of this endless waiting.
I think after a long weekend they all are too tired to work this week. So, let’s wish that next week they either give us our direct grant or ask for medicals and PCC again.
They are tired since the march 2020. this all about elections bro they want to keep unemployment rate at 4% which is too low, even media is on their side now in their agenda. so bro all is politics and we are stuck between them…
It’s the PMSOL list. Until it goes or is greatly expanded, it will remain at this pace.
PMSOL list only effective in business or employer sponsored visas. 189, 190 or 491 do not have any relation with this list. Bro my occupation is in PMSOL list but waiting.
I thought critical sectors / PMSOL were one of the same thing? I know on the 189, 190, etc processing times it says if the occupation isn’t in a critical sector, the processing will take longer. Then again, like you said, even people who are PMSOL are still waiting.
Bro you need to understand one by one:
-
Critical occupation means that can help to critical sector or business in need like doctors, nurses or in any critical role necessary to help in country’s economic recovery from pandemic or country’s own interest, in short critical skills in need.
-
PMSOL is a list of priority migration which was assigned for employer sponsored visas like 482 and 186…
So, 189 and 190 both do not have any relation with PMSOL.
but if your occupation is a doctor or nurse or any critical role that is in need like a well known national player like tennis or cricket then it means you will get priority over the others in all type of categories (189, 190, 491, 482, 489, 186, all other).
