usually they declare the next financial year’s migration levels in march. lets see what they are going to do this time. from last two years they slashed the skilled migration and boosted the family/refugee migration.
Bro they are inviting people but they do not have any attention to process the visas. I think this govt has to change now…

The labour shortage is felt across Australia in all industries. It is up to the government to speed up the processing of visas. By the way, it is going now, it does not seem any meaningful progress is been made.

Whats the difference between “further processing” and “received” anyways. Seems its just entering another endless queue.
Further processing is 1000 times better than received. It means your application is decision ready based on your documents and information provided while received means that no one in the office has touched your application so far. For me its 32 months.
Nonetheless I saw many people could still wait 24+ month on further processing during covid, which makes me wonder where I have been, 24 months on received.
Yes due to covid they waited 24+ months but their application was decision ready. It’s upto the department to release their grants. While people on received has not even gone through initial checks or initial assessment.
