Bro any thing from senator side…you gave your story to him…what happen…bro they updated that they are processing offshore applications on their website but there is no improvement in situation…I think now next govt. (labor) will do something…

they do not specially mentioned for offshore. they said that they are processing older applications…

Well not sure how many people are there with applications aging between 2 to 3 years, do you suspect there are very many people in this category? My case is kinda interesting, I applied for 485 in may 2019 and for 189 in june 2019 and moved out of australia. My 485 visa got processed last year and in principle I do have an australia visa for 4 years and can return to australia anytime (In 2021 I also applied for 482 with employer sponsor scheme, visa application was later retracted by me, but refund application was not successful). My 189 visa application is more then 30 months old now. status read, application recieved.
Bro there are lot of people now with application age of more than 2 years because there were few applications processed in 2020 and 2021 and even till this date the same scenario going on. total 75000 around applications are pending in 189, 190, 489, and 491 categories… but now this time, feb 2022, they mentioned first time that they are going to process older applications, lets see what happen…meanwhile sign the petition for this link is provided above…
@Sajidali875 Bro my 2 cents advice If you hold active 485 visa then you should go onshore which infact will increase your chances of getting your 189 approved within weeks.
For more than a week there is no update for either CO contacts or grants. Was trying to be optimistic after seeing a few grants, but now it is back to the waiting game.
Hoping something should happen very soon.
@Samu We have to see how this month goes. May be they have allocated 10-15 days to clear the backlog. I am also going through the worst and the lowest phase of my life and have done pretty much everything to get my file processed but no success till now. Waiting and waiting is the only option. Please keep supporting each other

this govt. needs to go…because they are making our life hell for no reason…now borders open but their behaviour is same as that before…
