Lodged March 2019 offshore. Thats all i remember. I don’t know why they deleted the grant information.
Visa Grant Delay 189
Great Positive news. I guess it’s the beginning of the most anticipated new wave of Visa grants post Covid as local lockdowns and restrictions have been removed in most part of the country and the workforce is back in the offices. Lets just stay positive and hope for the best. Cheers…
Thanks for sharing the information.
Hey guys. 1 more grant approved yesterday for Amandeep in our 189 visa group on whatsapp. Application lodged on apr 2019. (India offshore)
Can you please share their last co contact details and anzsco code if you have that information with you?
That guy haven’t replied to any questions after that sorry
May be he is busy in the celebrations. Anyway it’s a good news that they are looking at older 189 applications first.
January February 2019 were the last highest invited rounds in 2019 as far as I remember so the major backlog belongs to that group and after that was july 2019 round in which I fall. Lets see in coming weeks their order of processing the applications.
See i already told that you will get positive news from november.
Yes brother lets stay positive and hope to see some good news for us as well
Occupation: Analyst programmer Co contact: 2 - Mar 2020 (to redo pcc), Nov 2020 (to redo medicals).

Great News!!! Finally Covaxin gets approved in Australia. These are good signs and I can see things moving in the right direction now.
Hello everyone. Does anyone know if they are approving tourist visa?? Me and my husband applied together. He is in auz. And I’m in India. Waiting for PR since 2019. Seems like there is no end, thought I could atleast give him a visit for 1 month but as he himself is on bridging visa I can’t apply for sponsorship visa. I have to apply for tourist. But anyone has any clue as to are they processing it or anything? I did check with them and after being on hold and calling them multiple times they immi just said please check the site for more details
Last month I have lodged a foi to see how many tourist visa are onhand and granted since july 2021 and I am yet to get their response. As soon as I get it I will share it here. But I think they are not granting them as of now because the processing time is 12-20 months. It was 1-4 weeks pre covid so my assumption is that they are not issuing them at the moment (unless you are immediate family member of a Australian citizen or permanent resident) and all those people who have lodged them are still waiting for the outcome.
That brings up a question I have: if tourists are officially allowed in before some of the PR applicants are granted, but the tourist processing time is 12-20 months, should I forget about trying to get there as a tourist and going for a bridging visa? This was a backup plan of mine but learning the tourist processing times, I’m back to being in hibernation mode.
@earthlyexpatofficial I have similar thought but I want to wait until they make an official announcement to welcome the tourists back in their country. At the moment there is no clarity when this is going to happen but I am assuming when the national vaccination rate hits 90% they will start letting tourists in.
Ah thank you so much for this info. Yes I do see wait time of 12 months. It’s been more than 2 years we have met and Australia gov is doing literally nothing to make our lives easier.
