Visa Grant Delay 189

The whole FOI 00935 doesn’t match previous data, even the points tested on-hand visas are too low, as well as NZ seem too low. All data is conflicting in that document compared to other previous FOI’s

Agree and also the data they sent to me to answer my request is low for both streams.

In below document they suggest backlog factors in on invitations.

So, these low numbers make more sense to the drop in places for this financial year than the figures reported earlier showing a backlog of around 11K as of April this year.

Also noted that They have already awarded around 1,000 visas to NZ stream and Points tested stream seems well behind this financial year.

This is a huge question mark.

I agree with @GurminderSingh, the document displays primary data only, and not primary and secondary. Numbers are consistent with other FOI’s showing primary data only. The 7k figure does seem right for NZ and around 5.5k for points tested (primary + secondary).

Noting that NZ is getting a larger share of the grants 1100 compared to 500 for points tested, certainly fills the quota quickly and blows waiting times even more.

Would be interesting to know if they do have a certain number they cap NZ visas at? was 4k last year according to some agents

I heard from an agent 45 % of the total quota.

October 2019 or 2020. If 2019 then you might have a chance to receive some communication back from DHA but if it’s 2020 then in that case you might have to wait (Depending on your occupation).

case is of april 2019…docs asked in seot 2020

It’s all based on luck, i am on the same boat applied on April, 2019 and was CO contacted in Feb, 2020.No communication since then, i hope they start picking up CO contacted cases and give them the grant.

If you were requested medicals you may be getting a grant soon.

Keep us posted.

What is your occupation?

Are you onshore or offshore?

It’s a good news that they are processing some offshore applications as well.

kindly ask ur friend to update on immitracker

That’s awesome.

I’m very surprised.

I didn’t create it.

I think we needed 10K.

Not sure what can we expect from this one.

Ah Nice, I remember we were facing tough time, getting the signatures of Aus Citizens or PR holders. Nice to see so many signatures now.

I think yesterday’s numbers were misleading. I opened the petition today and there are only 186 signatures.
