It appears that they are prioritizing IT related folks…
Hi grgml! I am an IT applicant. May I ask you as to how do you say so? Just curious to know… Any recent grants? Thanks
If you look at the visas lodged , IT is the highest compared to other applications. Just check consolidated visa tracker and you will have your answer.
You are waiting from last one year !!! now I am worried… what should I expect in my case…
What is your total point and in which category(occupation) you have submitted EOI.
Hi…does any one know if they share Grant’s throughout the day or is it only during IST 8-9 am…has anyone received Grant’s in the afternoon IST hours as we see in myimmitracker…
Hi Ish916, if you filter the tracker based on “last updated” filter (basically click on “last updated” tab 3 times) you will see that almost all recent grants other than 1 is IT related.
It’s very difficult to answer this question even by the immigration department. Because each case has its own complexity which may lead to prolonged visa processing timeline.
Do you not think that because most of the applicants seem to be IT based occupations that most of the grants will be in that area also? It seems that there is a huge number of IT and software workers applying for this grant. I am a midwife and this occupation is not getting granted at all because I am probably the only midwife on this tracker. I think if the majority of applicants are from a certain background then naturally it will seem they have more grants
Good point Roisinmcel, never thought about it actually. When you said that, I filtered the tracker based on “lodgement date” filter and you may be right. Most of the folks there are IT related and that may be the reason for the recent IT grants. Unfortunately I cannot see the inactive ones so hard to tell for sure…
Nevertheless, in my opinion a grant is a grant. I am not IT guy, but happy to see that people getting grants and the system is at least operating… It gives me some hope compared to 2 months ago…
I really feel sad when someone in the tracker updates an CO contact but doesn’t update what the contact was about.
I agree, most people using this tracker are into tech (IT/Engineering). Therefore most grants will be to this set of users, mostly because they are the biggest group.
From what I’m seeing grants are roughly correlated with date of lodgement
Anybody here who lodged on or before March 2019 and yet to receive a CO contact / grant… If so pls share your lodgement date.
Yet to receive grant. Lodged 22 Feb 2019 under Developer Programmer.
Yes, you are absolutely correct. Grants are co-related to the date of lodgement.
Also, there is a priority set from what i see as a trend starting 12th December. They began full fledged with 2613** profiles and Granted many. Then they moved to 2631 profiles and now working Business analysts profile. In between they are touching non IT cases too. if you see, sometimes if you a non IT or Non Engineering job, you end up getting grant even in two or three months.
Again, this is purely based on the Immitracker updates. Dont go by my assumptions.
Thanks,
Thanks for the reply. Any CO contact so far… if so, details on that would be great…
Hello everyone My logdment date is Apr 5, 2019 and still waiting like everyone on the grant. Looks like its going to be some more time based on the trends.
Have a question on my Anzsco code: 261112 which is system’s analyst. I see most of the applications for Business and Systems Analyst have used the code 261111 but I dint see 261112 this year. May be few are becoming inactive but wanted to check if there could be any other reason.
WTH… Are you serious… With current momentum it should come in sometime… What you are getting to know is based on Global Processing times… Which is updated every month…
I believe this is not true also not correct thing to say. “I know a guy who knows a guy” is a dangerous start to any sentence. Many people get grants as I write this post, there was a grant with yesterday with lodgement date of 20 March. What does “March applicants” refer to in this case?
We can just hope that they will continue with this trend…
