Hi there, just a quick question, I lodged my SC189 Registered nurse on 18 March 2019. can I expect the visa grant Before the first week of February 2020, as I am planning to travel overseas for 6 weeks. Also, does the processing time for SC189 get hold while I am overseas or any chances of grant while in overseas?? Thanks

I donā€™t see an issue in you travelling overseas. That has got nothing to do with your visa grant. As long as you have shared all documents,the grant should come itā€™s way. The current trend shows you may get the grant by feb 2020. All the best.

Hi, I am new here. I have submitted EOI for 189 visa for Software Engineer - 261313. I have total 80 Points, though EOI was initially submitted on 10 march 2019, but after getting 20 marks for English, I have updated it on 28th Dec 2019. Also I have submitted the EOI for 190, where my points are 85. EOI Initially Submitted On: 03/10/2019 EOI Last Submitted On: 28/12/2019 Can you please help me as per latest situation in January 2020, what are the chances by when Iā€™ll get the invitation. I have a strong reason to believe that even with the current pace of grants - which seems to have improved over the last few weeks - Feb and March lodgements are still a long time away from grants.

If we look at Feb and March lodgements on Immitracker alone, only few seem to have been granted, while a ton of them are waiting; and these represent only 5% of all applications.

There are few grants here and there everyday which seems to be cheering people; but the realistic expectation of grants for Feb and March applicants is not less than 5 months from today

The EOI is reset when you update your scores to reflect more points. Now your EOI submission date is reset to December 2019. You will be considered for future draws.

If ur a single applicant, i presume u get 10 more points. If that tallies to 95, then next round feb 10.
Jan round had around 800 invites sent. We have to wait till 20th Jan to know the actual number.

I am married and primary applicant. My total score is 80(for 189) and 85(for 190) including everything(i.e. 5 points from spouse english as well).

Hope you have submitted EOI for 190 as well.

The results of January rounds should give us an idea on where 189 - 80 points stand.

Hi guys,

I lodged my 189 application on 17/1/2019 and got 2 CO contact. The CO contacted me for doing medical on 3/7/2019, I finished the medical check on the same day and havenā€™t got any contact since that. My status is shown as Health clearance provided ā€“ no action required, I donā€™t know why it takes so longā€¦

Is anyone experiencing the same? How long does visa grant after doing medical normally?
