yes I am sure. even you can observed from the petition statement where they confirmed that more than 50000 applications (189, 190, 491, 489) are pending and even I heard from other resources that about 70000 skilled visa applications are pending and backlog goes on increasing as states are regularly providing nominations…

Agreed! They have messed up the whole system using pandemic as an excuse. Visas could have still been issued with a restriction on entry date, but these people had other plans and those plans are still a misery even after the pandemic is over. Business are crying for skilled workers and here we have people in this forum awaiting their grants for more than 3 years now. The system is ridiculous!

True. In fact Pandemic was the best time to sort out older applications since they were not inviting many since last 2 years. All eyes are on labour now but they will have a mess in their hands which won’t be fixed unless migration intake is 190,000.

I heard from a Facebook program by agent that department is thinking to implement new approach to process old visa applications more quickly because reputation is on stake.Although till this date this is just a verbal news according to them as department is now sincere on this, so what will be the new method or approach still not clear…
