Hi All.

I received my 189 visa grant today.

My details are: 189 Application Lodged: 30 April 2020 1st CO contact: 24 June 2021 (Request for medical, new Australian Police Check) Medical done: 9 December 2021 (delay due to lockdown in Vic) Grant: 13 January 2022 ANZSCO: 271311 Solicitor Location: Australia since application filed.

I have been following this thread for some time. I think January onwards the processing of visas will get faster. It was quite a frustrating process mainly because I couldn’t visit my parents in India during a medical emergency since I was on bridging. It’s almost the end of the tunnel now and I wish you all the very best with your applications.

I believe few chinese are sitting in DHA and processing only Chinese or non Indian cases.
