Visa Grant Delay 189
No Idea Mate.
last month i lodged a foi for software engineers 189 applications. today i received the following information.
visa applications on hand and granted for each month for visa category 189 for ANZSCO 261313 (software engineer) where client location is inside and outside Australia from 01/07/2020 till 25/05/2021 only primary applicants.
thank you sharing @GurminderSingh. It looks they are giving 1-3 grants to offshore lucky people. But not sure if any offshore grants for India. God knows when they will start for India offshore people. Any idea how many invitation, they are giving currently for 261313.

currently they havnt issued any invitation for 2613 group for 189. by end of this month hopefuly the onshore queue will be cleared and then from july onwards they will have 2 options either to send new invites to onshore 261313 or to issue grant to pending 261313 offshore.
I mean…on past 2 occasions I called them, the person asked me if I was invited to apply…can you lodge a 189 visa application in immiaccount without being invited ?..I remember I received invite on the draw date as a pdf to my email, but I don’t remember if in immiaccount there is a possibility to lodge an application without being invited
If you are invited to apply for a visa you will receive an invitation email from SkillSelect. You will then have 60 days from the date of invitation to make a valid visa application online before the invitation expires.

yes you are doing it the right way by selecting statistical data. be specific about your query. they usually reply back in 10-30 days.

This is not my grant. The candidate got a co contact to redo medicals and pcc. Uploaded and in 4 days, grant came.

No, I haven’t received a word from DHA since I applied in April 2019. It’s crazy.
