Visa Grant Delay 189

Yes, you are absolutely correct. Grants are co-related to the date of lodgement.

Also, there is a priority set from what i see as a trend starting 12th December. They began full fledged with 2613** profiles and Granted many. Then they moved to 2631 profiles and now working Business analysts profile. In between they are touching non IT cases too. if you see, sometimes if you a non IT or Non Engineering job, you end up getting grant even in two or three months.

Again, this is purely based on the Immitracker updates. Dont go by my assumptions.

Thanks,

Thanks for the reply. Any CO contact so far… if so, details on that would be great…

Hello everyone My logdment date is Apr 5, 2019 and still waiting like everyone on the grant. Looks like its going to be some more time based on the trends.

Have a question on my Anzsco code: 261112 which is system’s analyst. I see most of the applications for Business and Systems Analyst have used the code 261111 but I dint see 261112 this year. May be few are becoming inactive but wanted to check if there could be any other reason.

WTH… Are you serious… With current momentum it should come in sometime… What you are getting to know is based on Global Processing times… Which is updated every month…

I believe this is not true also not correct thing to say. “I know a guy who knows a guy” is a dangerous start to any sentence. Many people get grants as I write this post, there was a grant with yesterday with lodgement date of 20 March. What does “March applicants” refer to in this case?

We can just hope that they will continue with this trend…

I, somehow, am inclined to believe that After March applicants receive grant, April, May and June applicants should be hopeful to get grant fairly soon, as there were only 100 invitations for each of these three months.

Cheers

Yes, but going by the current pace, we don’t see more than 1-2 applications being processed on average per day. There is already a huge backlog (including February applicants). Hence, I am compelled to believe the information that it’s going to take another 6-7 months for all March applicants to get their grants.

My application is for ICT Business Analyst: Lodged: 1Mar2019, CO Contact: 12Dec2019, Responded to CO: 12Dec2019, Current Status: Further Assessment.

I see that you guys are projecting 6 to 7 months for March applicants. Are you also considering CO contact applications as well or just Direct Grant applications ? Thanks.

Hey, don’t let fellows be panic OK? Although it’s not right to start with a friend of mine get grants …bla bla, truly I know some one gets her grant on 09/01/2020 who lodged on 19/03/2019. At least all things keep going now.

You said March applicants will expect their grants (by) August. Maybe you are right as some complicated case might take longer time than basic simple case. But please be positive and generally talk about the standard trend. People can’t accept that left March cases need to be dealt with more than 7 months. I think March applicants will get their grants soon if department of home affairs keep doing their jobs as recent days. Cheers.

Agree. Just to give some clarity that things are moving at normal pace. Subclass - 189; My lodgement date - 20th Mar 2019; CO contact - 14th Jan 2020; Reason for CO contact - Redo medicals as it’s expired few months back.

It’s not fair to make baseless assumptions to spread negativity. The queuing system is being followed and simple cases are processed quicker than the others. Other cases that requires further review are put on hold. At-least since December, there have been 13 grants per week or 79 total as per immitracker. That shows constant movement compared to the prior months that had 2 to 5 grants on average. Immitracker only serves as a trend indicator but DHA is the only legit source of processing times. There will always be a backlog as each case is unique and varies in completeness. As of today, latest lodged that was granted was at March 20, 2019. On average since December, there is a three (3) days movement per week. If this continues, we may see April 2019 1st week applicants being granted by 3rd week of February 2020.

When had you completed your medical.Because medical validity is for 1 year.

I am also lodged on March 20th, and I have the same question here.

As per the current scenario, your application might be under processing with the CO. If everything is fine, you should receive a grant within a week or two. If any additional info is required, you will get a CO contact atleast.

You are right, i am very happy with the progress these days, all seems to be normal as of now…only sad part is for application pending since long like mine from Dec 2018, and even it’s going to be 1 year when CO contacted me on 19th march 2019, they should atleast let me know what my application is missing or if they are not able to verify anything so that i can try to help them with documents, but they are not even letting me know what’s stuck and where in my application.:pensive: It will be even worse if they ask to do medical and pcc again just because of nothing…

Hi, I have been a silent reader of this thread so far. My lodgement date is 23rd Feb 2019, ANZSCO code 263111, received Immi assessment commence mail on 14th June 2019 and since then nothing… No CO contact or any other update. Our pcc had expired in Dec 2019, uploaded the new one on 11th January 2020. I am the primary applicant and my spouse is secondary applicant. Really hope to get the grant before our medical expires!
