Hey Guys - I got a CO contact today to add my daughter to the application. The next step is to complete her medicals. Lodgement date: Mar 12 2019.

So DHA is working even on Dec 31st.

I will also update my case in the tracker.

That is a good news, at least you know someone is taking care of you case. Good luck and happy new years!~

Good to know this. Hope they process other applications too.

Happy New year to all the friends here who might be unknown to each other but do share one thing common and that describes a lot common in all of us …have a good year ahead to you all and all the very best…

Hi there. I am in a similar situation as I had a baby during my application process. I am waiting for CO to load baby onto my application and to do medicals. When was your baby born? What forms did they ask you to fill in etc? When did you submit the required documents (they gave me a time limit)? My baby was born on 10 July 2019 and submitted forms on 11 July 2019. The CO sent me a form 1436 to fill in and submit together with babies birth certificate and passport etc.

Hi Stefano - My daughter was born on March 23 2019. I started all her paper work the next day and all the required documents were ready by April 24th (passport, brith cert, photo) and we added her as an additional applicant on April 24th. Apologies I am not sure what form it is, as my agent took care of that. I guess it is form 1022 as per https://immi.homeaffairs.gov.au/change-in-situation/had-a-baby.

We got a CO contact on Dec 31st and my daughter was added to the application. CO has now requested to do her medicals.

Hello Guys,

Just updating here that I received another CO contact today morning, asking to re-do medicals and AFP(police check). Though it’s bothering me as another ~$1200 to be spent now, however, am still happy that my case is not dead and burried. Hope I receive it soon and pray the same for all of you who’re waiting.

Have a great year ahead!!

Cheers.

Hi Just want to check, when did you Medical and Police Check expire, i would be in the same boat in a couple of days. thanks

I don’t understand why applicants need to be responsible for the associated cost and delay in re-applying for police clearance and medical checks due to delay in DHA. I would personally make another complaint to DHA about this.

Hi All, This is Anthony from India. First time I am visiting this forum. Job category : Software Engineer Visa Lodgement : Dec 12, 2018 CO contact for PCC/Medical : Jun 19, 2018 And no response after that. The processing time given is 12 months to 20 months. So may be thats usual. Please let know otherwise. I mean, If I need to take any action from my end.

And, Now my concern is on the expiration of PCC/Medical. I believe, normal expiry for PCC/Medicals are 6 months. And 6 months is already over in my case. So, will they ask one more pcc/medical now for further visa processing ? Any one has any idea ? Thanks, Anthony

Medicals and Police checks for me were done during Sep 2018, and they’re valid for 12 months only(I guess). But it all depends on the CO, if they ask for it again, when they pick ur application. There are cases I’ve seen where the application was picked more than a year after last police check and medicals and it was a grant without asking to re-do. Hope this info helps.

Thank for the info, we have some PCC expired ( me and wife ) last Dec and My wife Medical Expired last Oct ( CO Contact last Dec for redo medical ) then my medicals will expire on the 14th… tough luck but like what you said , look at the bright side atleast our cases arent dead in the water., cheers

U know DHA always give estimate for 90% of application and what happens with those 10% no one knows, how long it may take , no idea, now i think very few applications from 2018 which are pending are in that 10% slab (including unlucky me), else most of the people till 2018 have got grant (at least it seems per immi trackerdata):pensive:

Response received for the complaint and this is how they respond to person waiting since 13 months.,…

This application remains under assessment and is being processed in accordance with Migration Program visa planning levels and priority processing arrangements for General Skilled Migration visas.

I am unable to provide a timeframe for the finalisation of the application but can advise that any request for information or other communication regarding your application will be sent to the authorised email address for this application.

The Department is committed to service improvement and your feedback provides us with information to help improve the quality of our services. I would like to thank you for taking the time to provide the Department with this feedback.

It is just a copy and paste response. Everyone who complained to DHA about delay get the same answer. What you need to do now is to complain to Commonwealth Ombudsman.

Hello

Is this your first CO.You specified that the lodgement date is sep-2018 and now its jan-2020 so it is almost 1 year and 2 months.
