Visa Grant Delay 189
I saw a case on Expatforum where the applicant who lodged more than a year back got a CO contact to redo Medicals and PCC since the same were expired!
Send me the link of that forum too
Hi,
I’ve been silently observing this discussion all these days. Now thought of sharing my data.
Visa Applied: SC 189 (a family of 4 members) ANZSCO Code: 262112 (ICT Security Specialist) Application Submitted: 15 March 2019 PCC Submited: 05 Apr 2019 Current Application Status: Received
Please share details if anyone who applied on Mar 2019 has got a grant / CO contact recently. I believe there is no option left other than patiently hoping for a grant. let me know if we as an applicant can do anything to expedite this process.
This is insane! they are extending the processing time and asking us to spend more money for the same documents. Hope they will consider some grace time, mine both PCC and medical expired today.
What is ur lodgement date?
Today one year completed 15 Dec 2018.
This is not a matter of f… money only. Mine both were expired on 13th Dec after one year. The problem is applying for another PCC from my earlier residential country take 6 months to be issued. It is funnier if they ask me to renew my PCC as I have not left the Australia land since the last PCC issued. Lots of bugs in the current process. What to do but being patient and swear!
Hi guys,
i got a direct grant 14th Dec around 12pm Chinese - secondary school teacher- march 9 got invitation - lodged 12th march - single/ no secondary applicant/
hope this helps

there is already a grant up for today on immi tracker for a guy that appled dec 2018 from the adelaide office and its only 11am there now !!fingers crossed this week will be a lot of peoples lucky week…good luck everyone!!
The one granted today Dec 16 was from our forum in the Philippines, he lodged December 2018 with dependents, had CO contact on March requested for additional medical docs. PCC expired and renewed last October. Aside from picking up new cases, they are also clearing old ones so hold on guys.
After 367 days (one year and three days) my wife and I got our grants today. Just hold on guys, it will come your turn too. Just few days to expiry date of our PCC and Medical. We are onshore. Most importantly we expect a baby due in March that was our main concern! Wish you all get yours whenever is the best time for you. All the bests.
