My husband has applied for ICT security specialist occupation in NSW. This is not part of the priority list. He has 70 points in total (including SS). What are the chances of receiving the invite?

Hello everyone, does anyone knows that on what basis NSW invites? is it on point base or on IELTS base? for instance, if u dont have IELTS each 7 but you still have 60 points so is there any chances of getting invited by NSW? please comment if anyone knows about it

As far as I know , tracking isn't possible for such applications. Just wait with fingers crossed as I am 😄...all the best

i applied for NSW SS in September 2015 and did not recieve an invite yet. points are: 30 for age 15 for bachelor (i have 2 bachelor but they count only one) 10 for IELTS 7 0 Work experience (in 6 months, i will have completed 3 years so 5 points more coming in july 2017.) btw, i have a question: my work experience are as: 7,5 months in A company, 8,5 months in B company, 2 months in C company, and it will be 18 months in D company. (all related to my occupation) do you think they will accept these work experiences ?

@kubaza, they should accept your work exp as long as it is related to your skill set. more importantly, you will have to provide evidence of your work experience in terms of providing authenticate letters from your previous work places stating your work profile and designation. so i hope you already have those letters? if not, pls arrange them. hope this helps !

@ VVBN brother, with IELTS 6.5, you will never get invited for 189 nor 190. you have to get minimum 7 IELTS or 65 in PTE for being considered for PR. your score is good along with your exp.... but if you get the required score in english, i am sure you should sail through hope this helps !

@VVBN in additon, the cut off for your skill set has gone upto 70. so make sure you get 70. the only way you can is to get 8 in IELTS or 79 in PTE i would strongly recommend you PTE, as it is easy and possible to get that score. so ur score will be 30 for age 15 for education 20 for IELTS/PTE 5 work exp..............which makes ur score 70..... so you can apply for 189 as well as SS in which ur score will go to 70+5 !!

@kkchitnis i have the letters from all of the employers, stating my position and dates. Actually, my biggest problem right now is almost 470 days passed and i did not recieve a nomination invitation from NSW: Also, since 09.09.2015, my choice for state was NSW until last week. Then, I updated my EOI and choose "Any". At the end of the update, it asks sth as "Be careful, if you update any information that changes your score, your rank in SkillSelect database changes". But i had changed only state so my points was still 55+5. Later on, i updated it back to "NSW" and created a second EOI choosing "Any" in that one. Do you think these updates will change something? Does anyone have an experience about this? My "EOI effect date" is still 09.09.2015 on skillselect so rank should be same, right?

@kubaza, dude, firstly tell me ur ANZSCO number. and u will never get NSW if u have 55+5. so go and crack PTE with 79 plus in every module, only then you have a chance.
