@priyanka you are correct .. seems GSM brisbane close down. i call dibp after 55 min wait they pickup and finish call in 50 second. Not even ask passport detail and keep saying status available in your account. Why they not understanding this situations ? i am waiting since 10 month. away from my son since 2 year.. cant travel on bridging visa.. while others getting visa in 1 month... if they really take long time then why they mention 3 month for 75 % files.. ? No proper reply personally or email or telephonic .. Is this professionalism ?

Hii everyone. We are heading of completing almost a year after lodgement. Can anyone pls let me know whether I have to do medicals again if at all the deadline on medicals of one year is crossed.

Hi Priyanka, l reused my meficals fro my previous application so one uear passed after 4 months in my 489 application. The case ofgicer asked for a redo of my medicals last month. But l heard it depends with the case officer

Today, I called DIBP. They are not giving any information. They just said, they see the same information which the applicant see in their immi account. Also, they refused to transfer the call to higher official or the Case Office. It's been 4 months I applied and the status is "Assesment in Progress". What is the best I can do? Shall I write an email to Australia High Comission (India) for the status. Please provide me some inputs and suggestions. Thanks.

They mention clearly that if you email them it will only read when case office will again see your file.. best way set mind that min time for visa is 1.5 year and be tnsn free.. All the besr
