Thank you to everyone who add their cases to Immitracker, so people can forecast their grant date. What I have noticed, probably you as well, the cases submitted in August are taking ahead of previous month’s applications? Say, while June&July applications are waiting there, August ones are getting grants. It is good for me, as I submitted my application in September, but it is unfair to those who applied before me. I know that there is no such thing “first lodge, first granted” thing, but still there should probably be some rules or logic that we are unaware of. Do you have any idea why? My assumption is that maybe a special team of CO’s was created to assess cases submitted in August, 2018 onwards (in order to decrease the average grant time), while already existing CO’s focus on initially submitted cases, in order to speed up the processing time of long-waited cases and get rid of the bottleneck.
