What that means? IP(1), IP(2) and NA?

Can someone explain me what are the stages referent to IP(1), IP(2) etc. I can't understand what they mean. Do we need to go through all this stages? My status is "we are conducting your background check".... This is the only thing that changed since I passed the medical results.
