What are the pathways available for 489 Provisional Visa?
there are three pathways to the visa:
1. The Extended stay pathway - Hold a provisional visa in subclass 475, 487, 495 or 496.
2. The Invited pathway - been nominated by an Australian State or Territory government agency or sponsored by an eligible relative
a. have an occupation that is on the relevant list of eligible skilled occupations.
b. Have a suitable skills assessment for that occupation
c. satisfy a points test requirement
d. be under 50 years of age
e. have Competent English
3. The Subsequent entry pathway - e a family member of someone who currently holds a Skilled Regional (Provisional) visa (subclass 489) or a visa in subclass 475, 487, 495 or 496.
