I researched further and yes this site is for the Intitutions and departments. We are registered as test takers and this site ainā€™t accessible to us :(:roll_eyes:

I think we should all send our feedback and complaint to DHA, it is not fair to wait such loooong period. Considering the fact that all march and april applicants like me, received invitatiin before new regulations(regulation regarding prioritizing regional) and we should not be behaved with new regulations.because, if we knew this, we would for sure apply for 190.

I have sent feedback 3 times and got the same automated response all the times. Hence I donā€™t think it would work. Now Iā€™m thinking about sending emails to the news channels here ,with all the informations. If they circulate something it will get some public attention. Nothing gonna happen if we keep silent and accept whatever happens. You can email to the following and there is option to keep confidentiality of the email.

Thanks for the linkā€¦I have sent the mail related to injustice done for people who lodged the 189 visa when the processing time was 3-4 monthsā€¦hope few mails on same 189 delay will make an impact.

I see a couple of CO contacts to the 189 cases lodged on 6th and 9th April - it shows that CO Contact happened in May. Would that be correct to assume that for all of us who has lodged application in and before April and havenā€™t got a CO contact -> has good chance of direct grant ? Thoughts? I dont want any contact and further delay :frowning:

I completely agree with you. United we stand. The visa period should be the one at the time of lodgement. If they have resource problem, then it is something DHA have to work upon. It is completely unfair as people take decision to go with 189 and plan things based on the visa processing time at that moment. If I knew this fact, I would also have lodged in 190. I just canā€™t buy anything for home, job change is not possible, canā€™t invest in long term property here as nothing is clear.

I ll also post my feedback.

I agree with you fellows too. I have sent a complaint and a suggestion tooā€¦ as compared to 190 I feel being treated too unfairly as I have been living in regional areas for more than 3 years and because of having more points I applied for 189 in Dec 2018. Yet, I am waiting more than those applied for 190 who might have had even less points than me. That is outrageous though they do not care. No response from them yet I received.

Also, I doubt that the national Austrlian news agency care much about the issue asmost of the people here are anti migrants and that is why government is responding them with these delays. However, i wonder those who have some links to international news or forums could please make a movement on the misconduct that the departments have done with charging the money first and then changing the significant amount on processing time and policy.

Grants are now coming ā€¦finally, one of the friends applied in December with me has algo got grant yesterdayā€¦ Delay is certainly painfulā€¦but nothing much can be done on that.

Not sure if thatā€™s a good idea. When you apply for a visa, you accept their Tā€™s and Cā€™s, which includes accepting that they may change timelines at their discretion. The initial timeline is not binding. It appears they are slowly getting back on track so letā€™s rather let them focus on processing visas and not dealing with the media.
