Is the no of visas getting granted same as Mar-June 2021?

I see less messages in forum and other media.

Since most of the people are hoping that from July onwards things will be more pleasing for grants (at least more grants for offshore) but I guess it is reduced for onshore as well. Correct me if I am wrong.

No one will know what is happening. Unless there is an FOI for the grants. This is because people active in online forums and other media are very few when compared to the actual visa lodged.

Hi everyone, My refund request for 482 visa application was turned down. DHA took the following position as an excuse for holding onto 27 hundred dollars in liue of application fee

The applicant indicated that “Application lodged due to a mistake by the applicant and subsequently withdrawn in writing” The applicant stated “I had applied for 485 Visa and 189 Visa in Mid 2019 and was waiting for the decision on at least one of my applications. Alas, both of my applications suffered massive delays, caused by COVID-19 related closures of Australian borders. This had severe impacts on my professional and financial life. Therefore, I had no other options but to- 2 - Skilled Visa Processing Centre Department of Home Affairs WEBSITE: www.homeaffairs.gov.au unwillingly apply for 482 visa (by paying application charge for my 3rd visa application) after being nominated by the universality of Western Australia for Medium Stream 482 Visa. However, since now my 485 application have been decided and I have been granted my 485 visa, therefore I have decided to withdraw my 482 visa application(as I am no longer in need of this visa) and request a refund for the application fee. I am looking forward to a sympathetic response and refund of my application charge for 482 visa. My case is severely impacted by COVID-19 pandemic and although its highly unfordable to pay such a huge fee in lieu of visa application charge (i.e. three applications at the same time), I had no other option to do so, as my other two applications suffered massive delays. Please refund my application charges for 482 visa asap, I will be thankful.” As the applicant CABARRUBIAS, ALI, SAJID (16/08/1984,M) lodged for Temporary Skill Shortage (Medium Term) (GK 482) as the application was not ‘unnecessary at the time it was made’ (because the applicant did require a visa to travel to or remain in Australia), but where the visa was the wrong visa for their circumstance. It is not intended for when the applicant changed their mind about the application, or does not satisfy a criterion, or claims it was a mistake to have applied because the application was unsuccessful. You may wish to read information on our website for information on the 482 visa subclass Visa Application Charge policy on COVID-19 related travel restrictions: https:// covid19.homeaffairs.gov.au/refunds-and-waivers-visa-application-charges#toc-4 The delegate has considered your request, and as the above circumstances do not fall within the scope of regulations 2.12F(2), (3), (3A) or (3B), you are not eligible for a refund."
