Hi guys, this is both about breaking a habit and sharing good new, after almost 26 months, I have finally received the magical outcome. I was invited back in January 2019, applied in March 2019 and then got my first contact in Feb 2020 for my wife’s medicals and PCC who I added after I lodged the application (we got married after my lodgement). That was through the bushfires season and things were looking grim, and soon after that contact COVID hit, it took a whole year to get another contact in Feb 2021 which was for my medicals and PCC. And after 45 anxious days going through WhatsApp, this forum, Facebook groups and also the immi acc, I finally logged in to see what took me a little time to settle in. I think I am still settling in. Thanks to each and everyone of you for keeping us informed and helping each other out, I think this is a great community for people to just keep updated and revive hope and morale. It is now time to break the habit of logging in to immi and this forum and while I have been doing this for two years now, it will take a little time. I wish you all the very best and I urge you not to lose hope, your day will come and you will appreciate it as much as I am doing right now.

Congrats to everyone who received the grants and all the best for rest of the folks who are waiting like me. I see lots or onshore grants and some offshore grants too in past few weeks. I am hoping that offshore grants are still getting considered in covid-19 2nd wave.

Experts in this forum -: Is there any offshore grants now a days?

Why 485 is taking so long? Never heard of 485 taking so long. Did you attempt to contact DHA?

because he is stuck offshore and 485 didnt get processed when someone is offshore
