That’s my first post mate, Because of i m silent member. And Truly So Frustrated with this process. i lodge visa on dated 08/02/2018, Submitted Medical And PCC on Dated 12/03/2018, Got immi asse. comm Mail on dated 09/07/2018. Put visa on hold due to wife’s last month pregnancy on dated 15/12/2018, Bless With Baby Girl on Dated 25/12/2018, Submitted Birth Certi. and passport of new born on dated 16/01/2019, Got Applicant add on letter dated 01/02/2019, Medical Requested for new born on dated 07/02/2019, Medical Submitted on dated 14/02/2019. There is nothing after till the Feb 2020. I am Frustrated and called on 05/02/2020 in Aus Immi.Department with Very rudely. On 11/02/2020 I Have Physical Verification at my office. They question to me around 30 min. I am Self Employed. I am a Civil Engineer. ANZCO 233211. Now what Happen God Known, But I have truly lost my hope to getting granted visa.

You must’ve been really frustrated to have spoken rudely to the immigration department!

The irony is that they responded to your call. Dropped in for physical verification or something else, they did respond.

Hope they understand your exasperation and give you the well deserved grant

Almost similar to my case Logded my application on 20-10-2018 CO contacted on 29-01-2019 for medicals submitted my medicals on 15-02-2019 Updated immi on change of status (New born) 15-06-2019 CO contacted for new born passport and medicals on 29-07-2019 Submitted medicals and passport on 19-08-2019 No Update from then, reached out DHA multiple times for update its the same generic response

Same bro even I have been waiting since 22nd Oct 2018. Civil engineer 233211, got email enquiry to the employer on 08th Mar 2019 attaching all exp documents and verification done by my employer on 11th Mar 2019, since then no update.

And my application status is still showing “received” Can any one suggest why it hasn’t changed? Or does it means like I have wait till my status changes to further assessment…

This is same for almost all of us… received or further assessment doesn’t matter…also i think there is one more common thing for oct-dec 2018 applicants, that we got CO contact in March-19 and then no further updates…

Happy to report that we have been granted out PR visa’s on 11 March 2020. We’re from South Africa, lodged 14/08/2019 using a MARA agent, ANZSCO Code: 234211, Occupation: Chemist. We’re offshore.

CO Contact was 06/02/2020 for US PCC which we provided by 25/02/2020. Again, grant received 11/03/2020.

Thank you all for the support and for those that are still waiting for grants hang in there. I know it’s stressful and the process seems/is unfair with some people receiving grants that lodged way after you but stay positive. And good luck!

My cas is also similar to you guys lodged file 18 oct 2018 ! Medicals done on 26 oct 2018 ! First co contact on 10th jan 2019 regards wife name change affidavit! Provided on same day . New born on 21st march 2019 so added on the file April … co requested for do documentation & medical in july 2019 after medical there is no contact …
