Hi I am planning to move to Canada. I am trying to find out good places and also how the job market is over there. I am a senior software engineer and have worked for Microsoft, amazon in India and in Seattle before. How are the salaries compared to US. Please tell me how feasible it is to find jobs paying more than 150K. I am looking more in Van couver or Toronto. I already got the invitation for the express entry and waiting for my PCC from US to apply for the PR. Any inputs would greatly help me.
Salaries in Canada
As per my view 150k jobs are very rare.
I am in IT field too, looking at Toronto - i can say that even 100-110k job is really really rare to find and considered to be good.
I’ve lived in the US too, and Cali salaries are well higher than anywhere in the world, including Canada.
I cant comment on Vancouver though.
